it’s essentially a board with a clip
I wish clipboards were still fashion forward. It used to be that the person carrying the clipboard was the one in charge. As a child, I dreamed of carrying the clipboard. I’m so proud of the person who invented the clipboard. It’s so impressively literal.
Now, it appears “clipboard” is some software tool. I won’t go into details (mainly because I can’t), but I’m proud of this person too, although they got off easy with the name.
Then I think, when was the last time I LITERALLY cut and pasted something together? I honestly can’t remember! I love how terms stick (get it, paste…) as technology barrels forward.
But you know what bothers me? Now you read a nook instead of sitting in one.
